FAQs

What is mind-body coaching?

Mind-body coaching is a holistic process that helps you discover somatic, energetic, emotional, and spiritual fulfillment by tapping into your body’s inherent wisdom. This approach values the intelligence of the body to guide you toward what matters most and supports meaningful, lasting change.

What makes mind-body coaching unique is its use of embodied practices to develop somatic awareness and unlock insights that traditional coaching methods may overlook. By tuning into the ways your body responds to emotions, stress, and life events, you gain clarity on your values and take aligned actions toward a more fulfilling, connected life.

What does a session look like?

In a mind-body coaching session, you’re in the driver’s seat. You begin by identifying your desire for change and setting goals that matter to you. Together, we explore these goals through embodied practices, tapping into your body’s wisdom to uncover deeper insights.

As your coach, I support you in transforming those insights into concrete actions. I help you navigate challenges that arise along the way, so you can stay connected to your values and continue moving toward meaningful change. This cycle of awareness, insight, and action guides our work and empowers you to create lasting transformation.

How long does the coaching process take?

The time frame for mind-body coaching varies greatly depending on your unique journey and goals. This process offers opportunities to develop greater somatic awareness and gain embodied insights that can lead to meaningful shifts in both your inner experience and your external life.

Some clients may come in for a brief engagement focused on a specific challenge, while others choose to explore deeper, ongoing growth. Those who engage in sustained mind-body work often uncover new layers of insight over time, working with me for several months or more to align more fully with their values and live with greater ease, purpose, and connection.

Can I do mind-body coaching virtually?

Yes, sessions are offered both in-person and virtually via a secure platform. Virtual sessions are as impactful as in-person ones, making it easier to integrate this work into your life, wherever you are.

How is coaching different from therapy?

Mind-body coaching is a present- and future-oriented process focused on realizing your potential and creating meaningful change in your life. It’s about working with individuals and groups through client-centered practices that empower you to set and achieve self-determined goals. This process values the body’s inherent wisdom and uses somatic approaches to support personal transformation and growth.

However, it’s important to understand what falls outside the scope of mind-body coaching. Mind-body coaching is not:

  • Diagnosing mental or physical health conditions

  • Providing treatment or advice for mental or physical health issues

  • A substitute for therapy, medical treatment, or other healthcare services

Coaching is not intended to replace professional mental or physical health care. Instead, it complements these services by offering a pathway to greater self-awareness, embodied insight, and practical action in alignment with your goals and values.
